When spawned, searches for the closest target and fires at it until this target is dead, out of its range (15 meters), cloaks or when line of sight between the drone and this target is broken. Drone begin to search for targets only after gaining altitude. Only 1 drone at time is allowed, deploying new one will result in explosion of the currently active. Every drone comes with 150 rounds of ammo.

In offline solo play this weapon is only available for players purchased it from the in-game store or owners of Armory Season Pass 2, however should the player owning this weapon join the public server it is become available to everyone as a shared content. The Sentinel gains perk bonuses of the Commando except increased magazine size ( Eat Lead and High Capacity Mags do not affect its ammo pool). It cannot enrage Scrake or Fleshpound with neither bullets or explosion. The Sentinel does not attract ZEDs and cannot be damaged. Alternatively player can manually detonate it by alt-fire or by deploying new one, however it might not an effective strategy since explosive damage is nowhere nearly as good as damage provided by aerial support, as well as there is a very limited amount of the spare drones for player's disposal.
